Technology and clinical innovations in dentistry are progressing at an amazing rate. I believe it is imperative to stay current through continuing education in all aspects of dentistry. I have consistently completed hundreds of hours of continuing education so I can apply my knowledge and clinical skills to provide complete dental care with the highest standard of treatment, tailored specifically to each individual patient.
I believe dentistry to be the perfect fusion of art and science, demanding the blending of artistry with skillful techniques. When creating a new smile, a dentist must have a sense of harmony and of the patient's individuality. In my opinion, dentists are also healthcare educators who have a profound impact on the way patients lead their lives. It is essential to create trust with a patient through thorough exams, taking time to explain why treatment is needed and provide a comfortable environment for the patient. The highest reward is to see my patients’ happy smiles and improved oral health and appearance, which in turn affect their self-confidence and overall quality of life.
Dr. Anna Paholiouk earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Nutrition Sciences from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
During her training at USC, under the mentorship of Dr. Pascal Magne, an internationally recognized authority in biomimetic dentistry, Dr. Paholiouk developed a clinical philosophy centered on minimally invasive care and the preservation of natural tooth structure. This approach continues to guide her restorative work, with an emphasis on long-term function, strength, and precision.
Dr. Paholiouk is the first and only female Fellow of the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry, reflecting advanced expertise in conservative, evidence-based restorative care. She is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and has completed well over 1,000 hours of continuing education, demonstrating a sustained commitment to clinical excellence.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Paholiouk currently serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, a role she resumed in February 2025, contributing to the education and mentorship of future dental professionals.
Known for her calm, thoughtful approach, Dr. Paholiouk values clear communication and individualized care. She believes strong clinical outcomes begin with precision, trust, and respect for each patient’s long-term oral health. She welcomes patients seeking a conservative, detail-driven approach to dentistry in Orange County.
